The snippet for Steve Aoki song does not sound very interessting, I'll give you that.

But I just heard the remix for Swanky Tunes for the first time. That is some proper mixdown (or mastering). :)

They have the funniest melodies and rhythms in my opinion. I somehow always get a very simple "wiggly" feeling when I listen to their stuff. The best example of this is Smolengrad, you can easily say "Kalinka, Kalinka" throughout the whole song. Can't recall where I got the idea from but it is kind of true. :D So, try that to the "No one knows" remix (its refrain). ;)

i have to say that i agree, Tim Mason used to be my fav producer behind Ax. His open your eyes remix and his solid ground remix are easily one of my fav house tracks ever, but i constantly find myself dissapointed with every new track from him. Dunno what happened really...

third party remix is way better from my point of view ;)
