So, /\ and Axtone had a very good year on Beatport apparently, in their category.
Made a guess on which genre. Made me chuckle as I was correct.

If he continued to play like this by now i think he would've been playing more "club-ish" music than even Dirty South is right now, not to mention to possibilities production wise

It was a pretty abrupt switch too :( He was still playing like that in 2014, then all the sudden a complete change.

Listened to this set atleast 1000 times, i've always loved the amount of energy he has at the start when COTU is playing.

Saw him live in France back in summer 2013, that was pretty much the same set with a few changes here and there
So good with great tracks like COTU remode, Rock You Rock You, Arms Around Me, Leave The World Behind and all... Oh damn the memories

Sets like this and the WTP set are what keeps my fading hope somewhat alive that maybe one day, Ax will return to quality music. If I had to put money on it, I'd say Ax gives this axing shit another 2 years or so before finally realizing he can't get a top 10 track like DYWC and then he calls it quits. Retirement has gotta be close considering his age, don't y'all think?

Lol, he's not even 40 if u'r talkin' purely about his age  Many great DJ's are still rockin' it in their 50's...age is just a number, passion and love for the music is what's important :!:

Last I saw him was early 2015 solo in Vegas and there was still a lot of magic in his set and I could still see Axwell from this era. It wasn't like when I had seen him before, but there was still a lot of similarities.
