Deniz Koyu kicks off the ‘Axtone Presents’ podcast, the first in an initial four part series that looks to draw on artists’ inspirations, glancing at the past and looking towards the future of electronic music.

Mapping out his musical journey, Deniz explores his early influences including the track that convinced his friends to migrate from the trance to house music clubs in his hometown. The first half of the show features a heavy dose of Swedish artists including Eric Prydz, Miike Snow, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso & Axwell alongside Mylo, M.A.N.D.Y. vs. Booka Shade & Duke Dumont.

As befits the show’s agenda, the second half is a mix of Deniz’s current favourites bookmarked by his collaboration with Twoloud and ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ by Michael Brun & DubVision. Further editions of ‘Axtone Presents’ to look forward to will include specials from Axtone’s very own NEW_ID and fellow Dutchmen DubVision.

Tracklist:

Deniz Koyu - To the Sun [Axtone]
Mylo - Drop the Pressure [Breastfed]
Axwell - Feel the Vibe [Axtone]

I'm happy they didn't wait long to release the first episode!

Listening right now and this is quite interesting. They don't follow the formula of playing what's new in the scene but instead they ask the producers for favorite tracks, classics, etc... Great! :D

I'm also really looking forward to see who they are inviting... It's Axtone, they can simply say "come and make a podcast for our show" and bam we got every artist in the scene :P

That is correct, I'm hopefully anticipating that at some point in time we may have Axwell, Ingrosso, or Angello on the podcast.

Pretty nice mix. Got the 3 legendary tracks, drop the pressure Pjanoo and Feel the vibe. The all rest tracks are nice. Except Dear Life (Bassjackers remix) is kinda melbourne bounce track so its hard to imagine it nearly Axtone :P. But yeah Koyu's selection and i respect it. Good start into this podcast thing.

Like the first half of Deniz Koyu. Can't wait for other episodes, hope that Axwell will be involved. I think we can expect Axtone artists, would love to hear also some exclusives or maybe an episode by Axwell Forum?

If anyone didn't read the whole text, it says:
