Bottom post of the previous page:

It's straight up an unedited, stock plastic wrap texture. Such artistic, much deep, very innovative.

LOL. What ever happened to his design agency? Is he doing everything himself now?

Well.. it's a strange choice for an album cover.
I would prefer something different

I think that is just a placeholder and he will change the cover by album release

Steve is my greatest idol, you know.. but this album cover is ridiculous. The ALMOST HUMAN stuff with the crosswords was so cool and coherent with the idea of the album. I think he losts his way a liitle bit when the things with Brandon Flowers/The Killers didn't go well.

I really hope so. This seems not very intelligent marketing wise...

I know it's just a stock image - but he may have been inspired by Daft Punk again

OK. That would be a cool analogy.
But Daft Punk had at least their name on the cover.
Steve's cover is just a random stock image. Almost nobody will recognize that this album is by him. I think it's not clever to not put a name on your album cover.
I mean not every album cover needs the name of the artist on it but it's not like the Dark Side of the Moon cover with the prism by Pink Floyd that everyone recognizes. It's just some plastic wrap...

Yup. Weird choice.
