I didn't know the track worked that well even at demo step, I think it means a lot quality-wise !
Btw he also told me he has a single coming with Danny Freakazoid, production still has to be done but... This sounds good already

AXT016R Sign Your Name (Remixes)
2011
So it's 2011 now, and Axtone their first release is the re-release from NEON Records their remix package for 'Sign Your Name'. This isn't the first collaboration between the two labels, as we had a similar thing going on with 'In The Air' of course, and it surely wasn't the last. As expected, NEON their remix package featured a very Australian collection of names, with one of them becoming heavily involved into one of Axtone's biggest hits later on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N8v3gSryEk
The first remix is from duo Denzal Park, a duo that later went on to make that heavily axwell supported single 'Nammos'. Like in 'Nammos' the focus on heavy, almost trance-like, strings is very much present. If you don't know about this version, you should really check it out as the build is absolutely fantastic!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MlRE2yRhjk
So this is the duo I was talking about. This is one of my favorite versions of the track and imo the best remix from this remix package. Feenixpawl is ofcourse a name that went on to sign multiple axtone releases in the future, and did an episode for the forum podcast last year! Incredibly clean remix, very groovy, love it!

This is a remix I've heard for the first time only a few days ago. It somehow completely slipped my radar! It's obviously influenced by the big call for bigroom progressive sounds that was present at the time, so it's not the most creative remix you will come across. However, one thing I really dig about this is the added piano! Fits perfectly with the general melody of the original!

AXT017 Blow Up
2011
So the first Axwell release of 2011 is upon us! The russians join the Axtone ranks for the very first time in the name of Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes! The Blow Up original was an heavily anticipated releases, as it was one of the tracks that Axwell premiered during WMC in the form of a "Pump Up The Jam" bootleg. Here is Stevey playing during the same event:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfStceUMuXQ
Atlhough it remained the ST. Brothers their only feature on the label, Hard Rock Sofa ofcourse went on to dominate the label and eventually becoming one of three actual label artist from axtone...well, two out of four these days
.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEfqJq9grJM
The track took a good while untill the release came to be, as there were two additional versions in the making. This original is definitely not the most polished Axtone track out there, but if you look passed the weird bassline, broken claps, slightly messy flo..well, let's just say if you look passed all of that, you can see how brutally awesome the break is. I tend to think Axwell thought the same...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN-ZCs26QAc
...as he teamed up with mister Gold, to finetune the glitchy original into the absolute behemoth it deserved to be. It's so awesome the hear how thomas and axel were able to completely turn the track around , but still keeping the original sounds so intact. It was a release of debutantes, as this was Thomas his first release for the label as well. Although he isn't part of the roster today, he used to be one of the select names Axtone had actually signed as an artist. Well his collaborative effort with the bossman has resulted into one of the biggest buildups I've ever heard. Massive massive massive remix!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjOzxtdSeEs
To close things of, a very underrated remix from SURPRISE SURPRISE, a couple of Aussies! It was previewed on an Axmas mix, axwell did for BBC (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zNfEmxjGHk). Goodwill and Hook N Sling went with the more melodic anthemic approach, and I gotta say that they did very well! It's a really clean yet creative remix, with an absolutely fantastic break. It's a shame though they don't use more of that delightful piano in the climax, but it's still a very nice alternative version!

i remember when this came out it was winter over here, imagine like you are walking throught the snow and this hugeee drop explode after this massive build, ...I dont remember my reaction at that moment but i think people looked at me like im crazy hahah
However i will always be amazed how Ax found all those small detailed sounds in the second drop, absolutely stunning

I guess the remix was mainly produced by Thomas and Ax just edited it. It is a nice remix but i didn't feel so much axwell touch at the time.
For me it was the first track in Axtone that missed this sexyness and happiness we used to have in the previous releases and the beginning for an awful year in terms of electronic music.
