AXT020 Raise Your Hands
2011
After a little break, in axtone fashion, I think it's time to continue our trip through memory lane! We are now at a release that was really under appreciated at the time, but now finally seems to get the luv it deserves. The acapella is maybe one of the most legendary for various reasons, one of them being that it's still being used on a regular basis 4 years after it's release!
I'm talking of course about...

Like I said, at the time the record was completely discarded by the majority of the fans (the thread on the forum only has 8 replies!). But the DJ's instantly recognized the hidden dancefloor weapon that Raise Your Hands basically is. It seems that most of us at least, finally saw the light about this track. The vocal is ofcourse completely infectious, the flow in the track is unreal and very intense. And to top it off, the general combination of bassline and drums apparently is immaculate, as Axwell himself reused it for a very recent Rock You Rock You bootleg we all still desire greatly!
Some releases sometimes need time to fully bloom I suppose

Apparently this track has been inspired by a HRS oldie called Rhea, I got that from Mr. Caseli himself !
