And I like the very old stuff - he used to make excellent Tribal Tracks - which highly influenced the whole SHM style...

eg: Saxo Love (Steve Angello Mix)

So big up to FLG although I'm still not truly convinced.
I was think the same thing! really like Amplifier and Pink Bird and last year Get This Feeling! Great tunes :P

Most of the live sets I've heard from him were painful to listen to, so adding that to his 'commercial success' I did not reli pay much attention to him... Get this feeling was nice though, and the new EP is fantastic (Pink bird/Amplifier), so big up for that.

In my opinion he wasn't not making good music, he was trying new things out. He's gone on the record tons of times saying the state f dance music is stagnant, everyones making electo, etc. Flonko gypsy all that stuff is experimental, see how people react to it and see where it goes. It's nice to try something new every once and a while

His remix of Move sure sounds good live. There's some percussion work that kicks in at the 4 minute mark that's just great! And yes, I fully support what you say about his music: he's been daring to try more minimal stuff instead of doing electro noise like everyone is. Check his remix of Palmito, it's pretty awesome stuff comin up too.
