Latest post of the previous page:

Yeah it was pretty ridiculous. The ISOS cd's i was never a huge fan of, i worked at an HMV in the electronica section so i had to hear it day and freakin night. I think the only time i've enjoyed tiesto outside of live, was when i heard my first electronic song ever. It was Satisfaction by Benassi, then I heard Lethal Industry and the Parade of Athletes disk which, i admit, wasnt bad. But for some reason i just can't stand him on disc, not even ISOS, and Elements of life made me cry wheni listened to it. As for Mau5, i only find hyim overrestimated because i havnt heard him live. I almost did, i was in line for it and had a ticket but they over sold and gave us our money back at 2am while waiting outside, it was bullsh**. He does have a few decent tracks, his remix of his girlfriends Give it Up for me was allright.

I think i'm behind the times though, i'm listening to Arno Cost & John Dahlback -Golden Walls. How old is this? I just found it today =/ Unless it's brand spankin new and im up to date ^____^

I haven't heart any Deadmau live set yet - so I can't say anything about that...

I also wouldn't say his productions are bad, eg I sometimes really enjoy listen to the Mixmag CD - really deep stuff...
In fact he is a talented producer for sure - but still (for me), like the thread says - overrated...

LBL's prod. are also not really my taste, except "It's been a long time" - but this track is def a Sweedish thing - just compare it to "555" (the last good Angello&Ingrosso for me).

I also think these two guys should take a little bit more care... not because of being overrated, but of becoming "out"...

I remember back when Angello made this fantastic tribal tracks, which still influences the SHM style - and I really miss them.
The point is: they are technically really good - and the really know how to produce - so why don't they do that?

I saw him live and I think he's good... just not as good as he is usually said to be... He's often compared to PvD, well I've seen both live and I liked Paul quite a bit more...

Also, I think Guetta, Sinclar and all the DJs that most purists are 'hating' lately should be praised for bringing new audiences to House music. Without a Guetta or a Sinclar, lots of people would have never known Axwell ;)

I heard he started with the name Quazar too, and that he did the music of the game Worms also. I don't know if it's fake informations or not :?
