What genre of music is Axwell / Swedish House Mafia?

Hi everyone!

Can someone please explain to me what style of music Axwell, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, Dirty South etc...is?

I obviously know it's House music, but is it Progressive? Minimal??

they don't have a certain style becuse their every song is different (especially Axwell) and they are always one step ahead from the rest of the world

I must agree ......they are at least one step if not Two ahead of what House music has become ....they are re-inventing it all , and creating their own genres ....making what in my opinion is the best overall House Sound I've heard in my long life in house music ...and i mean long ... really long (since 1987)
listening to their work is a musical journey from the first kick drum to the last string and piano used .....overall ....genius ...
