Latest post of the previous page:

think the biggest vibe is built around Axwell, then it is Sebastian Ingrosso and the Steve Angello!
Why do I have this opinion?
1. Axwell: The people are totally crazy for his productions/ remixes and his edits have the atmospheric touch, which appeals to a lot of people! Plus he seems to be funny guy and he can rock the floor with the combination of various styles!
2. Sebastian Ingrosso: I think he is the maniac/ lunatic (in a positive way) of those three. Has some crazy thrilled ideas and hypes the people with his performances, plus good productions!
3. Steve Angello, lately there were many discussions around him, when I compare his releases with the ones of Ax and Seb, he has released most material, but least bombs, so I think his quality is a bit down right now. He sometimes seems to much laidback and his arguments can be seen twofolded, just remember this, "is he really mixing or not/ headphones" discussion! He is more the Techno guy!
To sum it up:
1. Ax > most selective
2. Seb > funny lunatic
3. Steve > laidback

Remember: Just my opinion!

Concerning the new track: I have no real opinion, can't wait to hear it live at Miami and then I will make up my mind!

Max You should look at his 2004/2005 (past) tracks and recent Monday, Tivoli, Isabel, Flonko (less bombs indeed but still high level) and compare him maybe to Seb (although he's made progress last year - How Soon Is Now / Kidsos / Meich but in the past he's been relying on Steve's work - Angello & Ingrosso releases and Axwell.

He's still more "collab guy" than real independent producer.

To be honest, I think this is a MONSTER irrespective of who it's by. I can only imagine what it would sound like in a club.

Great - we have a discussion once again! :D

I agree with Max conerning the 3 SHM guys!

Maybe Guetta can release the worst stuff ever and have success with it (that's what he does in fact  ), but imho it's all about quality!

Success comes with quality ... as we have seen!

That is true and counts for almost every industry, also the one I am in, quality comes first and guarantees very good reviews!

Concerning Guetta: no need to comment, due to his fame, he is lucky to get Vocals or Collaborations from well known people (akon etc.) and this gives him an automatic commercial success, but if his name would be DJ David Noname, he would as famous as I am in the DJ scene

That's why he has most releases, but still as daherbst has said, quality is the key!

Man I would hate an Axwell and Akon or someone like that collaboration. Give me Steve Edwards, Max C, Deborah Cox anyday!

Its not all about big names and commercial success. Its about making great records, full of energy, emotion and groove.

+1 Peter - just think of LTWB: first the track wasn't that peaktime... an finally it was.. well - LTWB! ;)

As long as I don't hear it on Axwells myspace side or at beatport or something else more official than a youtube link, I'm not gonna judge the track.

All I can say is that one reason why I always loved the Axwell or SHM tracks is, that they did not ride the wave - they created it.
Electro might have been funny -just think of "Star Baby" - but for me this is no longer House.
Another reason is, that Axwell always knew how to combine "commercialism" with "quality" - Angello sometimes doesn't - no matter why - and I personally can't support this "l'art pour l'art" idea! House has always been nothing without the followers...

So let's wait & see - I can't remember being disappointed...
