I saw him live last night, and it was decent at best. The atmosphere was amazing at the club [Celebrities, Vancouver], but it seemed repetitive. He didn't play 'songs' par say but more of just a general rise in tempo then drop to a solid bass line. But that's all it was there was no mix of songs or tempo or overall genre of house which left me sort of dissapointed.

Anyone have any feedback on Dubfire?

I like Deep Dish far more...

This minimal stuff is def not my taste...
On the other side, his Remix of I found you was ok... he knows how to make a good bassline...
All in all: he knows how to make good music for sure, buy now he just doesn't want to make it

he delivers MASSIVE basslines... try to rebuilt a bassline with that clearness and pressure of the "i found you remix" he did, its awsome!!!!

but i also agree that his mixset are not that versatile atm.

Well, I'm likely to go see him live by the end of July... I'm quite big on Deep Dish, but I do enjoy both Dubfire's and Sharam's solo work. I think Dubfire might be 'too minimal', but I do think he's good... Anyways, I'll let you guys know how he does live...

Sharam is better than Dubfire! Patt (Party All The Time), The One, and Get Wild are true bombs :o

Get wild has a great bassline as well as catchy vocals - but the track itselft can't be left alone - there's happening too less in 10min...

Maybe that crazy mash-up that unites 'Get wild' with 'Sweet child o'mine' from Guns&Roses will do it for you? ;)
