By the way... seems like Avicii latest album didn't do that good no?
It has ~600 million streams in total on Spotify so i think it did very well for six tracks, compare that with for example Wild Youth who has been out far longer and contains 13 tracks, that has a total of ~43 million streams.

Thank you for posting. I finished watching this minute ... and wow, it was a nice ride to back in the days when discovering his music and observe his path 'til he retired from touring. Also it is a nice view behind the curtain and I can imagine that Tim isn't the only artist in creative business who has his problems with touring or being pushed to do things he don't want to.bastien135 wrote: ↑01 Apr 2018, 10:02It's out today on Netflix

Just saw 'True Stories'.
What an obsessed for money Ash is. Wow.
So good that AxIng were not part of his team anymore.
The footage is so tense. Happyfully Tim realizes that he would die if he keep going, and made the decision: "Fuck, I'm gonna quit."

I didn't feel like he was obsessed about money like crazy. He seemed to be very professional minded but forgot the human part of it. Avicii wasn't fit for the dj/show/touring world but Ash's way of managing was purely around that (and 99% of the music scene is this way). So I wouldn't blame him THAT much.atalibacarpes wrote: ↑09 Apr 2018, 02:19Just saw 'True Stories'.

Great documentary by the way. One of the few that tells an uncommon story and really felt genuine.

Maybe not obsessed, but he's definitely a jackass regardless. You would think that it would be clear to someone in artist management that they are dealing with humans and not machinesJSR wrote: ↑09 Apr 2018, 13:49I didn't feel like he was obsessed about money like crazy.
