no offense takenhedz wrote:No offense, but seems like everyone nowadays listens to the track to know if it has mashup material, instead of actually enjoying the sound...pow wrote:pretty cool yeah =) vocal reminds me of empire of the sun walking on a dream and lead is a bit like tommy trash but its cool defo going to use this breakdown for some mashup

offtopic, but i fcking hate mashups. I'm in a club, dancing at Resurrection, and then suddenly crappy vocals of Human appear... wtf? Or Calling, also a brilliant instrumental, and then vocals of Leave the World Behind start. I mean those vocals are good in their own songs, but I don't see the point of adding vocals to such amazing instrumental tracks. Or In the Air with Rolling in the Deep... wtf? In the Air has its own vocals which are great, why removing great Rudy and adding much worse Adele?
I don't understand the mash up mania these days... Every live set you look at, the track list is something like this:
1. First song w/ Second song w/ Third song (acappela) w/ Forth Song (acapella)
2. First song (original) w/ First song (Someone's remix) w/ Second song (acapella)
etc.
Just play one song and then other and then third etc. Ok put one or two mashups, but this is too much

The breakdowns are really in the spirit of the original track, but meh drops...
Maybe one of their most unknown remixes.

surprise.. the HRS remix is better than the original.
"When I'm making music I try to create something that is different... something that makes my ears happy.."
Pretty good remix. The original is quite nice but I hated these electro bridges, now HRS gave it a good treatment. Love the vocals as well, 'what happens after dark' stays on your mind for hours.Didas wrote:
